CHU de Limoges
CHU de Limoges
The project is being carried out on steeply sloping ground, below the CHU, comprising a ground floor + 4 upper floors.
Its three buildings clearly define its organisation:
- The central “bar” links the constituent parts, communal medical facilities and connects the upper access (link to the CHU) to the lower public access.
- The large North trapezium contains all of the main medical and technical departments.
- The accommodation “arm” in the south-east, in such a position as to obtain the best outlook and views, is located around the technical platform. The eastern part forms a portico on the ground floor to house the “foyer”.
Two lower ground floors provide logistics facilities and staff car parks. Roofing of various volumes is treated as a 5th façade, providing views from dominant points.
